Why your location matters
Availability depends on where you are physically located when you play. Your home address isn't the only thing that counts. Even if you live in a supported state, you need to be inside an eligible jurisdiction at the time of play.
How Picks checks your location
Picks uses geolocation technology to confirm you're physically located in a supported jurisdiction. You may be asked to allow location access on your device before playing. If your location can't be verified, or you're outside a supported jurisdiction, real-money play may be restricted.
If your location can't be verified
Location verification can be affected by your device settings, browser permissions, VPNs, proxies, or other software that interferes with location detection. Check that location services are enabled and that Picks has permission to access your location. Still stuck? Contact hello@getpicks.app.
Why isn't Picks available everywhere?
Rules governing skill-based sports games vary by jurisdiction, so Picks only enables real-money play where the platform currently supports eligible participation. As Picks expands, additional locations may be added.
What if your state isn't supported yet?
Real-money play won't be available where Picks isn't live yet. We're working to expand into additional eligible jurisdictions.
